Landscape Preservation / Maximize Open Space

Focus on preservation of existing vegetation on site, without further disturbance if the building is designed around existing vegetation. Preserving the existing vegetation with addition to new vegetation placed around or within the new building helps consume carbon emitted from and around buildings.
