Project Information:

Lake City Way Station was the last station to be completed (aside from VCC which is currently under construction). The all steel structure creates a striking form when viewed from the Lougheed Highway nearby.

Architect: Architectura (now Stantec) and Walter Francl Architects
Contractor: PCL Constructors (Canada)
Steel Fabrication and Detailing: Solid Rock Steel, Vancouver, B.C.
Steel Erection: Solid Rock Steel, Vancouver, B.C.

Slender steel columns support the triangular projection of the steel framed roof.

Round HSS members are used to create the steel trusses that support the main roof.
